Das WTTC World Travel & Toursim Council hat verschiedene Destinationen infrastrukturell und unter Covid-Belastungs-Maßstäben unter die Lupe genommen und eines der erstenZertifikate „safe travels“ für Sri Lanka vergeben.
The Word Travel & Tourism Council has analysed various destinations with respect to medical infrastructure and Covid-pressure and awarded the destination of Sri Lanka with the “safe travels” stamp.
Teile der Protokolle inkludieren öffentliche und private Sektoren mit Maßnahmen für Interaktion, die sicheres Reisen garantieren. Natürlich kann niemand für kein Land der Welt 100%-ige Sicherheit garantieren, aber jeweilige Protokolle wurden von WTTC erstellt und betreffen Gastgewerbe, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Einzelhandel, Flugverkehr, Flughäfen, Vermietungen, Kreuzfahrten, Reiseveranstalter, Kongreßzentren, Autovermietungen und Versicherungen.
Part of the protocols include providing the public & private sectors with the insights & toolkits for interaction & implementation to ensure that people are and feel safe - however WTTC can not guarantee 100% safety for no cuntry. It is paramount to have common rules. WTTC will be publishing the protocols in phases andfor at least eleven industries, including; Hospitality, Attractions, Outdoor Retail, Aviation, Airports, Short Term Rentals, Cruise, Tour Operators, Convention Centres and MICE, Car Rental and Insurance.
Interessant ist: Das WTTC sitzt in London, GB ist eigentlich nicht mehr so richtig EU -Mitglied, und die Liste der Safe-Travel-Länder differiert von den Risikogebieten, die vom Robert-Koch-Institut Deutschland benannt werden, beträchtlich. Hier drängt sich der Gedanke eines EU-Protektorats auf, denn Reisen in EU-Nachbarländer mit täglich wechselnden Bestimmungen und einem wackeligen Covid-Gefüge sind wahrscheinlich eher risikobehaftet -
in jeder Hinsicht – als eine Fernreise nach Sri Lanka mit verantwortungsbewußten, abstandsorientiertenFluggesellschaften, einem privaten, straffen und Besuchern zugänglichen Gesundheitssystem und nur 12 Covid-Opfern in 5 Monaten.
The interesting part is: London-based WTTC is not exactly a european arm and contrary to the german-basedRobert-Koch-Institut, the findings concerning destinations bearing risks and those who do not differ greatly.It seems the EU-countries do want to protect themselves and keep turnovers resulting from tourism in the EU by loosening travel restrictions with or without justification.
But: for sure it is more pleasant and safer to head oneself for Sri Lanka, travel on a distance-conscious airline, make possible use of a well-organized private health sector and face a healthy population counting 12-Covid-victims in 5 months rather than visiting neighbouring countries in europe, whose codes of behaviour in public places change literally every 5 minutes. Today you have a stroll on the beach with your wife, tomorrow with a mask and your wife may go when you come back. Not sexy, but safe.-
